The first international Acne’s collection was presented last June 27th and took place at one of the most famous restaurants in Paris: Le Chateaubriand. The creative director, Jonny Johansson chose the place as a symbol of Paris and turned it into a disco, to take the air of his collection. The inspiration was about school disco style, kind of school proms and 80’s teenage accent. The shapes were straight and elongated the body; the shirts had a longer lengthen and were used with juxtaposition with other ones, shorter. Coats, pea coats and leather jackets covered the look, matched with bell hem trousers and sandals, sometimes worn with socks. A slim tailoring jumpsuit got attention, arranged with shirt and showing off finesse.

The glasses emerged amazing and tempting, huge and bold, shiny and retro. The boots were made in vinyl in black or metallic hues, as a vivant funky blue. The hats also had attention and the palette was among shades of black, a splash of caramel, grey and white.
The Acne made of its first presentation a successful runway of description and boldness at the same time, suggesting why the brand is known by its contemporary style.
