Check the breezy collection with a sixties accent of Alice + Olivia for spring 2011

Last June 23rd, Alice + Olivia had showcased its fresh collection for springtime 2011. The inspiration was clear: sixties accent, vivant summer hues, Jackie O. sartorial and elegance and a bit of boldness from seventies.
Boat necklines, straight clean shirts, fluid printed shirts, suited blazers, pointed shoulder pads, stripes, big polka dots, skinny jeans and platform: if by the silhouette or garments the collection would be classic, as Jackie O., but the injection of incroyable hues turned it into a resort of fun.

The palette was composed by lime green, funky red, vivant yellow, blue and basic black & white. The 50’s cat eye shades and the turban finish the look, composed by geometrical lines, sometimes bell hem trousers and a seventies revival of wide flap hat and fluid printed dress, or thirties draperies. The collection was a splash of hues for a fun resort, the mark of the brand.
