Bottega Veneta – Milan Fashion Week Fall Winter 2010/11

Powerfull woman in the less obvious way

Powerful women. That was a very recurring theme among the designers during the Milan Fashion Week and many of them just felt on cliche – what wasn’t the case of Tomas Maier. For the Bottega Veneta’s collection, the designer just had chose for a intense and deep search, as a proof we could see ther first runway’s looks, that were gloomy suits made in leather.

Otherwise the others current runways – with a unique message – Maier had decided offers to the public many options scheming options. Leather suits with a tight tailoring, gave the Bottega Veneta’s woman a Business Woman look, but the slight jersey silk dresses with amazin cutous and spoty polkas shows a modern woman, that is still elegant. There’s even space for the romance, with sweet pink silk dresses.

Though the subtle of some looks, the image of a strong woman was kept, specially in asymetrical fluids, now matched with practicity, not being more art for the art. In fall winter 2010/11 by Bottega Veneta, is possible to find draped dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts with an A cutout and tailoring coats, creating an interesting contrast.

Even with all that diversity in catwalks, the collection kept the well structured dresses, with marked shoulders and gloomy tones, specially the black. To complete the presented looks, the famous clucth purses were replaced by bright big purses with dazzling materials. The necklaces and earrings tease with a sweet sediction letting the look even more fancy and chic during the Winter.
