The chic minimalism of Bouchra Jarrar for Fall 2011

Yesterday, Monday July 5th, Bouchra Jarrar had presented its Haute Couture collection for Fall 2011. The garments emerged austere and subtle but with a classy look which showcased an effortless style.
The monochrome collection brought a black & white palette sometimes embellished by straps of golden shiny materials to give vivacity, sometimes covered by ivory or navy hues. The silhouette was about straight and clean, a minimalism of shapes and effects, creating a delicate outfit, which even being absolutely well cut, passed the idea of an easy simplicity.

The bias was the main detail in garments, which contrasted in the background delineating the forms which the designer wanted to show, and creating visual effects. The collection was basically made but cuts, and line effects which enhanced the fancy casualty while the shades of gold strengthen the futuristic aspect.
The runway was closed letting a maturity and contemporary image in memory.
