Chanel’s Stripes
The classical and timeless pattern comes back in fashion
The classy stripes eternized by Chanel, at the begining of XX century comes back in fashion. The pattern, which turned into a fashion must to have item is walking on streets for a while and is a key garment for any outifit. Beyond being classical and timeless, the pattern is also very easy to match, with the only care being about the direction of the stripes. As any stripe you should choose vertical ones if you’re not that skinny or horizontal one if you don’t have problems of flatenning the silhouette.

The pattern comes strong for both, man and women. In blouses, for the classical garment, it comes in a boat neckline and wide shape, with long or ¾ sleeves. But it also appears in other garments as t-shirts, dresses, skirts or jackets and in a range of materials and fits.
The classical model, whith horizontal thin stripes is the most seen, but mixes of stripes are a modern bold option. Above we can see a dress which has horizontal large stripesat the high zone and vertical thing stripes on the low zone. It’s a good example about its effects on the body. The versatility about the stripes is that it can be match with anything, for real. Neuter hues go perfect, and as well goes the vivant tones. In summer or winter garments, its a pattern which fits in any season and any fabric.
Beyond being perfect in blue marine and black, the stripes also can be matched in funky tones, as red and White, yellow and black, or freddy Kruger style, black and red! The point is that stripes are a fad, for anytime! Choose your and wipe out!
