With thoughts about the freeze world of ski and dives, but also inspired by Bauhaus colors, the designer Riccardo Tisci incorporated the dramatic theater – characteristic of his productions – with an aesthetic from 90’s to create his Fall Winter Collection.

If the leave of Helmut Lang and Martin Margiela in the creative process of the brand, the female fashion suffered with the miss of garments where the mdern design were the main attribute. Tisci’s work, just as Phoebe Philo, cames to slake that wish, bringing to this new collection suits, skirts and coats with refined cut outs that enhane the shapes.

In Ricardo case, in specificly, the propose arrived with ribbon tied on the neck, gloves, red bags and mouths and much of laces; details that brings a gotic view, just like in the 90’s when tease was sinonim of fashion attitute.

To lead this Givenchy’s season for a plot where sporty influences become more visible, the designer worked with an aesthetic of ski uniformes and developed some garments from the definition that after would give to the runway’s theme: “a journey to the mountains in direction to the sea”. In spite of that launching bet in jumpsuits and tight neopropene pants , which ones brings similiar shapes of the tradicional models, the result wasn’t well done and was difficult to find where was the inspiration, unless by a few looks that brought zips in in front garments.

Fo the evening, Tisci brings velvet, satin and laces, and beyond that he puts slits and leather, in mini skirts and dresses. With an oblong silhouette and dry cut outs, those dresses matches those fancy materials in casual wear, mixing the elegance of fabrics in daily wear and sporty elements.

Closing the collection, Ricardo Tisci exhibited his work showing extremelly dazzling garments in plumes, in slightly arrangements that brought poetry for his runway. Givenchy, as always was classical and elegant.
