Men’s and Women’s wear for Spring Summer 2011

It’s undeniable to say that last Haider Ackermann collection for spring Summer 2011 was unconventional.
The runway took place at a historic palace nearby antique chandeliers, and happended lats Wednesday, June 16th. The Palazzo Corsine had shelter a sartorial runway, with a cozy-fancy style.
The designer presented both men’s and women’s collection and were inspired by the Italian and French art atmosphere and the movie directors Pasoline and Visconti. The soundtrack of the runway followed the calm and equilibrates theme of the collection, being present live by Jamie Bochert.
The designer brought to the catwalk a lovable melancholy, a subtle fragility and a hidden beauty.

The collection, despite of showing a fragile men, also mix it with a the strong of a caravan, showing outfits with many layers and wide shapes.
The hues came all neuter; with vary of browns, grey and greige. The silhouette was relaxed, with details which created a natural movement.
The Turkish modeling transformed the tailoring pants wider, and silk trousers of pajamas pants in outwear. The kimonos shirts and jackets got a retro style and appeared with vintage ethno prints while the velvet sleepers were worn on feet.

For women’s wear, Haider seemed to had created greek gods. The dresses were absolutely feminine and lightweight.
The fully collection delight in luxe and design: amazing clothes, lovely soundtrack and exotic place. Even being the designer’s first men collection, at the end, it had as detach as the feminine, matching a perfect couple.
