Check the Raf Simons’ collection for menswear spring summer 2011

Yesterday, June 17th at 9.15 PM was the presentation of the spring summer 2011 collection of Jil Sander. The runways happened in an historical ville called Villa Gamberaia, built in 1300, in Florence. The labyrinth gardens were the cenary for the runway, which contrasted vivant tones among the green background.
The collection, lead and designed by Raf Seimons, had the inspiration hided until the event starts and the 400 guest had a dinner after the show.

The show brought a coloful men, with amazing tones and notable details. The match of concrete quaint hues were setted electricity: Pink plus blue plus orange, all mixed and full of overlaps.
Another detach point were the huge flower prints, which appeared in lightwieght shirts with small or any collar.
The stripes (also in colorful tones) dressed casual outfits, macthed with dry modeling pants. Those ones, were extremelly straight, with a tight modeling and deep crease. The intense colors also appers in pants, and in the hit of summertime, the shorts with short length: the shorts came in an avarage lenghth, in the middle of the thigh.

The blazers appered with a waist marked by belts, and with a length a little bit longer than have been appering: less slim, more wide and long. The traditional tailoring keep coming in impecable cuts, with a slim modeling and a shorter jacket. Even the funky tones being the newness of the collection, the designer didn’t let aside the little black, which came in trousers, shorts and jackets, mixed with the quaint hues and by its own, in suits.
The silhouette itself were absolutly retangular and sometimes hourglass.
To finish the menshow with style, gaining a little help from nature, at the end of the runway a slight rain felt down.
