Jil Sander Spring Summer 2011 Milan Fashion Week
Raf Simons invested in a mini-maximalism during its runway on September 25th, in Milan. He did a mix among clean lines and maxi lengthen, bringing to the catwalk maxi skirts and dresses in different shapes and the duo of blazer plus suited trousers, or even, overlaps of coats and palazzo pants. The forms got a quite straight line, creating a natural seductive accent. The pieces appeared in rigid shapes, sometimes round, others lined by ruffles around the waist, but always matched with basic loose t-shirts.

Trying to rescue the Yves Saint Laurent’s palette essence, Simons got the mixes already shown in Pitti Uomo in Florence, during the menswear show in June. The delightful matches of vivant tones like orange, yellow, fuchsia, pink, blue marine and plum, arranged in overlaps of combinations, created a verve visual effect.
