Marni Spring Summer 2011 Milan Fashion Week
Check the Marni’s inspiring collection for Spring Summer 2011
The Marini’s creative designer, Consuelo Castiglioni, had presented her spring summer collection on September 26th, during the Milan Fashion Week.
With a colorful palette and revamp shapes, the collection brought asymmetrical cuts, modern fabrics and new silhouettes. The leather appeared cut out and mixed with sporty garments like cycling shorts. The randomness which the looks were arranged created peculiar outfits with a futuristic accent. The colorful stripes, the flowers in various tones, the cuts, the sheer the fluidity of some and the rigor of others resulted in a surreal collection. At the end, sequin garments closed the runways in colorful geometrical sets of blouse-and-skirt, showing a modern relaxing sophistication, yet not losing the known finesse.
