MaxMara’s runway for spring summer 2011 started showing a passive clean and minimal concept and ended in pop summery looks. The elongated sand & camel silhouette emerged in clean shapes and body-con styles, fluid lightweight fabric skirt, trench coat and pencil skirt, then the all white looks (a hit promise for next season) came elegant and chic, in precise cuts and accessorized by thing colorful belts, like a point of color among the clinical clarity.

Slowly, the coolly tones starts to invade the runway, first in cropped marigold trousers and then completely mixed up among sheer and slinky pieces. Bright orange, fuchsia, violet, purple and light yellow had great breezy combinations together. The satin touchy blazers enhanced the obsessive colors and the sprinkles of black outfits harmonized the palette. The navy spots still keeps alive for next summer: black & white striped blazer and dress couldn’t be missing nor classical polka dots.
It was a collection which highlighted the body forms and showed democratic and practical looks for summertime.
