Check the Thom Browne runway, inspired by the Tour de France

The runway took place at the Milan’s historic Velodromo Viforeli, having like the theme the bike run Tour de France. Leaded by Thom Browne, the Moncler Gamme Bleu collection came with a sport shape and an aesthetic quite retro. A few traditional sporty pieces appeared stylish by French colors and full prints. The palette was basically composed by red, blue marine and white, to enhance the French inspiration, but also brought khaki and greige hues matched with pink and light pink tones and a range of different greys, beyond of the little black.

Capes, biker tight shorts with overlaps and box caps: the collection was simply amazing! Starting by the local, after by the way it was presented: at the beginning a few models entrance was on the road, riding bicycles. After, the models walked showing its incredible outfits, arranged by leggings and shaped shorts. The trousers came with a straight cut, with the length at the ankle line. The blazers, appeared with a sporty air, and the jackets, with pure and clean design in despite of the prints.

The knitting also brought a simple desing, sometimes with the trois coleurs of the French flag, others in one unique hue. The prints came in full bicycle theme, modern plaid or Vicky pattern. Even synthetics and leather got space, appearing in sporty matelassé vests or thick jackets, closing the runway.
All with the soundtrack of Kraftwerk's "Tour de France" and Queen's "Bicycle Race". The runway was fun and creative, being a pleasure not just by the clothes as for everything: scenery, soundtrack, design and behavior.
