Moschino Cheap & Chic – Milan Fashion Week Fall Winter 2010/11
Moschino brings a breezy and funny collection for italian catwalks
To celebrate the new Moschino’s Maison the designer Rosella Jardini and the Cheap and Chip team changed the runway shape and have invested in a pop british style, counting with the singer Pixie Lott and the disco of Asia Argento to entertain the presentation during te Milan Fashion Week.
Walking among the public – the public were stand up – inside of plastic tends , the models made little scenes during the Moschino’s red carpet.
The concept , later, was explained by Rosella like an inpiration of the many kinds of woman that check in and check out of the hotel were the Maison was lauched. We saw even a Chanel Lady, wearing a pink tweed suit, and a Hermès Lady, wearing the famous Kelly Bag, with a hat and an amazing black topcoat in the its Fall Winter Collection.
Like the famous store Corso Como, by Carla Sozzani a just a few steps from the hotel, Jardini rescue her custumers, full of bags with the word “FULL” printed oe side, and the Moschino web site at the other, and put it on catwalks.
Just for a little show, the designer had resented the new suitcase’ collection during the italian event, which she called Lost and Found. In black and white uniforms the housekeepers also had appeared with their dusters ad wide and ruffle dresses.
The looks came all glam, even in simple garments as cargo pants, t-shirt and tight leather jackets. The dresses came with a tight cuout and short length while the prints appeared in once or polka dotts and the coats in exquisite furs that gives the fab exaggerate touch in the collection.
Plaid, studs, floral, chains, ruffles, leather and fur were the main elements of the Moschino’s new propose, that had arrived with a playful breezy air.
With not much commitment and full offun, the runway came and left the message, printed in ametalic little dress, “Fashion must go on”.
