• Bottega Veneta Spring Summer 2011 Milan Fashion Week

  Tomas Maiser, the Bottega Veneta’s creative designer, had presented the label’s runway last Saturday, September 25th. Maiser said that he enjoys creating clothes for real life, and that was he demonstrated during the Milan Fashion Week. Bottega Veneta brought a verve urban collection, borrowing a sporty design and mixing up a neutral palette. The tones were from black (including leather tops!) to light sky blues, taupe, ice white, grey and creamy ivory. Two looks had highlights by being printed:

  The duo Dean and Dan Caten had presented their Dsquared² collection last Monday, September 27th. The runway had debuted with sand hues, getting hot pants set and a cut out bathing suit. After, it started to gain some colors, and being intercalated by boyish and tomboy looks. Flat oxford shoes, straw hats and oversized glasses composed the outfits, which were about loose knitwear, basic cardigans, suited blazers and manly garments.   The first international Acne’s collection was presented last June 27th and took place at one of the most famous restaurants in Paris: Le Chateaubriand. The creative director, Jonny Johansson chose the place as a symbol of Paris and turned it into a disco, to take the air of his collection.   The Lacroix’s collection presented last June 29th, brought the elegance of suiting suits with the relaxed landscape look of traditional espadrilles. The waist line gets higher, otherwise the hem, which gets shorter. Lacroix had showcased a sunny fresh collection, with a palette of candy and pastel hues, mixed with neuters as caramel and sand.

• Balenciaga Resort Collection 2011| New York

  June 9th, Nicolas Guesquière had presented Balenciaga’s Resort collection for 2011. The collection emerged with tailoring clean lines in modeling which remembered militant uniforms, but with a chic accent.
