The navy style is a classic. The inspiration comes from the seamen’s uniforms and other navy elements. It appeared in 20’s by the consecrated and eternal Coco Chanel, then re appeared in the 50’s and 80’s. However the style never really got out of fashion. It’s just the Summer arrive in catwalks that the references of the style can be seen, sometimes stronger, in another more subtle, but always classical.

Anchors, chains, rops and nodes are often seen elements. The white and blue marine stripes are indispensables and the red is also a color with detach in the navy style, just like the golden. These items are still in vogue in Summer 2010, but with a renew.
The navy in this Summer comes with a sophisticated aspect – less seamen, and most chic bathing place. The look made us remember a morning in a glam boat or even in a fancy resort, but are quite urban and current.
The stripes in the navy traditional colors share space with black and another tones. The navy elements are mixed with straight and elegants cutouts like shirts, blazers, pants and tailoring pants. They can be matched with slight items, like slight and fluid mesh. Prints with chains, rope and floats also have detach.
The retro navy charm also match with the pin-up sensuality, bringing all feminility of v-waists , scarves, ruffles and attachments that makes to remember the seamen’s nodes.
Among the accesories, the golden predominate and appears speacially in garments with chains. The pearls comes in a range of sizes, making a Chanel reference. The navy is, with no doubt,a classical. So take the trend to be fancy and boor in this Summer!
